Wingz Box · St Leonards on Sea
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 12 September 2026
About these terms
These terms apply when you place an order through the Wingz Box website for takeaway collection or delivery from our restaurant at 53 Bohemia Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN37 6RE. By submitting an order you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected] or 01424 257 485.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date on this page will change when we do. Policies on the site (for example delivery fees, minimum order, or opening hours) may also change; the information shown at checkout and in our settings at the time you order applies to that order.
Ordering
You can order for delivery or collection. Delivery is only available within our service area; distance and fees are calculated when you enter your address. Collection orders are prepared for pick-up at the restaurant. Orders may be held until a requested time where scheduled ordering is available.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Product availability can change; if an item becomes unavailable after you order, our staff may contact you or cancel or adjust the order as appropriate.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact details, delivery address (for delivery), and any allergy or dietary notes. Incorrect information may delay or prevent fulfilment.
Payment
We accept card payment online via Stripe, and cash for orders where that option is offered (typically at collection or delivery, as shown at checkout). Card payments must complete successfully before the order is confirmed as paid. We do not store your full card details on our systems.
Until payment is confirmed (for card orders), an order may remain unpaid or expire according to our payment process. Unpaid orders are not treated as confirmed kitchen work.
Delivery and collection
Delivery times are estimates only. Traffic, weather, order volume, and kitchen capacity can affect timing. You must be available at the delivery address (or provide clear access instructions) when the order arrives.
For collection, please arrive at the time indicated or when we notify you that the order is ready. We are not responsible for orders left uncollected for an unreasonable time.
Minimum order values, free-delivery radius, and delivery fees (if any) are as stated on the website and at checkout when you place the order.
Cancellation and refunds
Because food is prepared to order, you should contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel. Once preparation has started, we may not be able to cancel.
Our staff may cancel or reject an order where necessary — for example if we cannot fulfil it, the delivery address is outside our range, payment fails, we are temporarily closed or paused, or there is another operational reason. Where a card payment has already been taken, eligible refunds are processed through Stripe back to the original payment method. Cash orders that are cancelled before payment is taken do not involve a card refund.
Refund amounts and timing depend on the circumstances (full or partial), the payment method, and how quickly your bank or card provider posts the refund. If you believe a refund is due, contact the shop with your order number.
Allergens and dietary information
Menu descriptions are a guide only. Recipes, suppliers, and preparation methods can change, and our kitchen handles multiple allergens. You must check allergen information that matters to you before ordering — contact the shop by phone or in person if you need current advice. Do not rely solely on website text or past orders.
If you have an allergy or intolerance, use the allergy notes field when ordering and speak to us if you need confirmation. We take care with notes you provide, but we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
Subject to that, Wingz Box is a small takeaway food business. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of enjoyment of an event), or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability arising from a particular order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where the law requires otherwise.
Website and kitchen systems
The website, online ordering, kitchen display, and related staff tools are provided to operate our restaurant. We aim for availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend ordering (for example for maintenance or when the kitchen is paused) without notice where needed for safety or operations.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
For how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
